TE TUPU is based off a single circle Koru, and the Maori Pikorua, which is typically an S loop shape or figure 8 twist. The Pikorua Maori symbolises the strength of two entities. In this version, we are representing the EARTH, and it's people. Wood tones and warm earthy colours come from timber, while the trees energise our surface the same way Papatuanuku (God Mother Earth) does. Combined with a strong circle koru border, displaying the PEOPLE connecting to protect the land.
