The Landmark Sydney
Display Suite Inset Rugs and Carpet
Situated in the growing Sydney suburb of St Leonards, the Landmark building offers stunning views of the beautiful Sydney Harbour. The tower, which is projected to be one of Sydney’s tallest buildings outside of the CBD, was designed by architects Warren and Mahoney to accommodate up to 455 luxury apartments. The team at Korda Design were honoured to have the opportunity to create an innovative design for the Landmark’s display suite that encapsulates the sense of luxury engrained in this building.
After consulting with the designers of the suite, Korda Design team began the research and development process to create a unique and truly bespoke rug. Korda’s designers saw the aspect of the building and the potential to work with the impressive views of Sydney Harbour by incorporating elements of this Sydney icon. This bespoke gradient rug flows from a light natural earth tone of the land to a vibrant blue hue, reflecting the Sydney Harbour.
Korda’s designers also saw a unique opportunity to encapsulate another element that makes the harbour such a popular attraction. Incorporating glittery Lurex into the hand-tufted design, this bespoke rug sparkles in a way that mirrors the bright Sydney sun reflecting off the harbour waves.
Korda thanks all the talented designers and architects who collaborated to create a truly unique design for this project. You can visit the Landmark display suite at Level 7, 120 Pacific Highway St Leonards to see this exciting bespoke rug in person.
